Pancake Smoothie - Healthy, Vegan, Gluten Free and Delicious!

It's like having ice cream for breakfast!

The warm, sweet smell of pancakes in the morning; it's enough to make you instantly drool. 
But the heavy carbs, butter and sugary syrup can really put a drag on your tummy and your diet. 
I know, I know, but your children love pancakes and that's what they want. Well, I bet they also like ice cream. 
This smoothie taste like pancakes and has the consistency of ice cream - you're kids will love it and they won't even know it's healthy!   

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana
1/3 cup GF oats
3/4 cup almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
3 TBSP Walden Farms pancake syrup (zero calories!)
4 ice cubes

Process:

Before I blend everything, I like to soak my oats in the almond milk to soften them up a bit. Then just combine everything in the blender and you're done! I eat mine with a spoon so I like to add a few banana slices on top. Sometimes I even add a pinch of cinnamon for an extra boost of goodness.
