Creamy, healthy, chocolate mousse that only takes moments to make!
If you've been trying to add more vegetables or healthy fats into your diet (or your child's diet) then this is the treat for you. In addition to eating this right from the bowl, it can also be used as a delicious dip. Think chocolate covered strawberries, bananas, raspberries, or even pretzels - Yummy!
I have been serving this mousse to friends and family for quite some time now and they still have no idea that it's made with an avocado.
Ingredients:
1 ripe avocado
1/4 cup sticky sweetener such as apple honey, syrup or agave
1/4 cup cocao powder
1/4 almond milk
1 tsp vanilla
Process:
You can make this in a blender or food processor. Just puree all ingredients together, pour into a bowl, cover and let set in the refrigerator. This taste best when it's cold so give it about an hour before serving. Enjoy!
